The most outstanding feature of Warner Archive's new 4K restoration of Million Dollar Mermaid (directed by the turgid Mervyn LeRoy) is the jaw breaking Technicolor. Once again a superb recapture from original three strip nitrate negs.
Otherwise this faintly picturesuqe "biography" of the notable Aussie swimmer, Annette Kellerman is strictly for the water sports crowd.
