Vale Raymond Chow - John Snadden notes the passing of a major figure in the cinema

I've just heard the news that one of the giants of Asian and world cinema has died. Canto film producer and entrepreneur, Raymond Chow passed away yesterday. He was 91.
His production/distribution company, Golden Harvest, became the mainstay of commercial HK film-making from the mid-1980s and, effectively, replaced the ailing Shaw Brothers studio. His involvement with Bruce Lee in the early 1970s has become legendary and led to the Hollywood / HK production, ENTER THE DRAGON.
RIP Raymond Chow.
I'll post further on this major figure, later.
