The Australian Media Oral History Group establishes a web presence

I’m a member of the Australian Media Oral History Group and one among us, Dominic Case, has recently put in the hard yards to give the group some prominence on the net. If you click on the link it will take you to the page setting out what the Group is about and if you click here you can find the list of current members.

We meet once a quarter at the Sydney Office of the National Film & Sound Archive in Pyrmont and have some wide-ranging discussions about all aspects of recording the memories of those who have been involved in many capacities in the film and media industries.

Clytie Jessop
The first posts on the site are devoted to two items of great historical interest. Film-maker Martha Ansara has contributed a piece titled Clytie Jessop remembered and film-maker and historian Graham Shirley has a piece devoted to a marvelous piece of memorabilia that covers a remarkable period in Australian media. It can be found at Lesley Candell's autograph book.

Please have a look. As more posts go up I’ll give you a link either via this blog or through my Facebook page.
