Classic, Lido, Cameo and Ritz Cinemas selling take-away movie snacks this weekend
Plus: Virtual film trivia hosted by Lido and Ritz Cinemas.
Classic, Lido and Cameo Cinemas in Melbourne and Ritz Cinemas in Sydney are selling takeaway popcorn, choc-tops, beers, wine, gift cards and cinema merch from their front doors or box office windows this Saturday and Sunday.
From 2pm until 6pm on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 September, each of these cinemas will have staff manning the box office windows or front doors selling cinema snacks, gift cards and merch for families to take home with them for their weekend movie nights.
These four cinemas have also created community DVD/VHS libraries out the front of their doors and are encouraging people to come and browse, take a film home and return it when they're finished, or also to donate any unwanted VHS tapes or DVDs there.

VIRTUAL FILM TRIVIA HOSTED BY LIDO AND RITZ CINEMAS
Lido and Ritz Cinemas are also hosting a virtual film trivia night on Thursday 23 September at 7pm.
Taking place on Zoom, the trivia will have four rounds of film-themed questions, with surprise special guest appearances and big prizes up for grabs.
Registration for the trivia is free and must be done by Monday 20 September at 5pm.
