Au Hasard, Balthazar |
Among other major directors she worked for was Pier Paolo Pasolini. (Teorema, 1968 and Porcile, 1969).
There is a short but informative obituary on the France24 website. Among the information it contains is word of a feature film adaptation of a book Wiazemsky wrote about the short-lived relationship with Godard, "Un An Après" (One Year Later). The website says "it was the basis of a recent comedy about Godard, "Le Redoutable" (Redoubtable), by the Oscar-winning director of "The Artist", Michel Hazanavicius." Godard quickly dismissed the film as 'a stupid, stupid idea.'
Wiazemsky achieved additional fame as a writer, publishing thirteen fiction titles as well as a number of biographies.
