CINEMA REBORN LIVES - Announcing the first three titles of the 2019 season - 2-6 May at the Randwick Ritz

Our hearts are full.

Late breaking news folks, the 2019 season of Cinema Reborn has finally landed and will take place from 2nd to 6th May at the great picture palace of Sydney's east, the Randwick Ritz.

An announcement has been made on the Cinema Reborn website about the Opening Night film. There's a clue in the photo above! Our Opening Night will set the standard and all comers are welcome at standard Ritz prices. The full selection will be announced shortly but it can be said now that it will consist of ten programs of classic digital restorations from Australia, Belgium, Cuba, France, Great Britain, Italy, Turkey and the United States. There's more information on the website, which we admit is rudimentary at this stage so have a trawl around.

Stay tuned for announcements about the program and ticketing but we can say that prices will not be raised above the Ritz's usual tariff, all seniors and other concessions will apply and in between or after the shows the audience will be able to sample the delights of Randwick's famous The Spot, home to a fistful of cafes, restaurants, bars and coffee shops. Delight all round.

And to start you off here are links to comprehensive program notes on three of the films we will have pleasure in presenting between 2-6 May.
